Launching Linked Learning: Shaping Students’ Experiences
Are you part of a school system implementing Linked Learning districtwide? Or are you just beginning to explore the power of combining college and career learning? This series is designed for pathway teams and individuals who are new to Linked Learning and interested in deepening their knowledge about this proven approach to excellence and equity in education. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of the Linked Learning approach through interactive exercises, discussions, and active engagement.

Session 1: Introduction

Educators choose to implement Linked Learning for a range of compelling reasons. In this session, participants will deepen their understanding of the “why” behind the Linked Learning approach, what it involves, and ways it connects to the outcomes they would like to see.
Session 2: Systems and Structures
October 10, 2024
4:00–5:30 pm PT via Zoom
Creating a Linked Learning school culture takes attention to key systems and structures. Participants in this session will have an opportunity to reflect on the work at their school sites and learn about the importance of continuous improvement practices throughout their Linked Learning journey.
Session 3: Implementation
October 17, 2024
4:00–5:30 pm PT via Zoom
Educators across California and beyond have been bringing Linked Learning to life for their students for 15+ years. Participants in this session will draw on real-world implementation experiences to guide sure-footed plans and will have the opportunity for feedback on their own plans for next steps.
