Los Angeles High School of the Arts at Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools
Los Angeles Unified School District has been engaged in Linked Learning for nearly 15 years, and its Los Angeles High School of the Arts (LAHSA) is among the district's first Linked Learning Gold Certified pathways. The school offers a rigorous, innovative theatre arts program where students enjoy an interdisciplinary approach to their studies: they understand the math that goes into their stage movement, the history that explains the tech they work with, and the art reflected in their writing. With an in-depth focus on nurturing relationships, LAHSA staff provides one-on-one mentorship to students to help them define and achieve goals. Through the school's work-based learning program, students complete internships in the areas of performing arts, law, medicine, education, and more.
