You're Invited: Integrated Student Supports Webinar
The Linked Learning Alliance invites you to join us on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 1 p.m. PT for an informative, interactive exploration of one of the four Linked Learning pillars—integrated student supports.
The webinar will feature a description of the student supports implementation framework from A Guide to Integrated Student Supports for College and Career Pathways: Lessons from Linked Learning High Schools. The framework incorporates supports for academic learning, technical learning, workplace learning, college and career knowledge, and social and emotional learning.
We cannot get to equity and excellence in education without providing the services and resources students need. Adults must take collaborative actions to weave the interventions and supports available in a school into a coherent, personalized educational experience for all youth. In this webinar, we will describe and discuss ways you can make this happen in your instructional context. Speakers include:
- Anne Stanton, President, Linked Learning Alliance
- Jorge Ruiz de Velasco, Deputy Director, John Gardner Center at Stanford University
- Marisa Saunders, Associate Director for Research, UCLA Center for Community Schooling
We look forward to an engaging session and hope you and your colleagues will join us. Register here, and please feel free to share this invitation with others who can benefit from the webinar.
