Applications for SY 2021-2022 Linked Learning Fellows Are Now Open!
The Linked Learning Alliance is excited to share that applications for the Linked Learning fellows program is now open. This is an exciting opportunity for Linked Learning leaders at all levels to join a network of committed leaders who will work collaboratively to cultivate their leadership, strategic communications, and advocacy skills to promote Linked Learning adoption. Linked Learning 101 is Coming Up Soon!
Have you registered for Linked Learning 101 yet? Join us on Thursday, September 30th at 3:30pm PT for the launch of this foundational four-part workshop series where participants will learn how to use the Linked Learning standards and certification process to equitably design or improve pathways. Whether you're on the road to Linked Learning certification, looking to deepen your career academy work, or just getting started with pathway work, Linked Learning 101 is for you! Finding Your Community: A Linked Learning Student Alumni Network Event
The Linked Learning Student Alumni Network (LLSAN) is back with its first event of the school year! Please invite your Linked Learning seniors and recent alumni to Finding Your Community, an Instagram Live conversation on Friday, September 24th at 3:30pm PT. Moderated by Porterville USD Linked Learning alumnus, Aaron Morales and featuring alumnae from Los Angeles USD and Antelope Valley UHSD, this conversation will explore how to discover and create community on college campuses after high school. Please use these outreach materials to share this opportunity with your students!

While pathways were getting back to school, the California State Legislature was wrapping up its session in Sacramento. Our policy update takes a dive into bills that are moving forward out of Appropriations that may be relevant to the Linked Learning field. The Linked Learning Alliance extends our congratulations to all Linked Learning students, in Long Beach USD and beyond, who completed a summer work experience this year!
Designed to Thrive Workshop Series
Envision Learning Partners' newest workshop asks, "What kind of performance assessment system would we create to ensure learners farthest from opportunity thrive?" Participants will explore the features of high-quality performance assessment and design a performance assessment prototype that provides evidence of student learning and thinking across essential competencies. This three-part series takes place across three Thursdays: September 16th, September 23rd, and September 30th. Register today!
