Marites Beredo

As Finance Manager, Marites (Tess) Beredo manages the financial and business systems of the Linked Learning Alliance. She provides strategic analyses to the Alliance’s executive leadership and board of directors to inform financially sound decisions and direction. With extensive experience in financial management across a wide range of industries, Tess brings a wealth of knowledge in financial and accounting management, internal control, budgeting, forecasting, and administrative management. She previously oversaw finances for the Bay Area Community Health Center and CAL-PEP, a community-based, African American-centered health organization in the Bay Area. Tess has also worked abroad, serving as Finance Director/Financial Controller for businesses in the Philippines and United Arab Emirates.

Tess is a certified public accountant and holds a master’s degree in business administration.
