Audrey Kim
Audrey Kim is a senior portfolio manager on the Place Matters team at Blue Meridian Partners, a national philanthropic organization focused on transforming the life trajectories of young people and families living in poverty. She is responsible for managing investee relationships, conducting rigorous due diligence, supports the investee selection process, develops organizational scaling plans and helps assess individual and portfolio-wide performance. In her role, she works to support leaders of place-based organizations and national networks driving cradle-to-career outcomes put more youth on a pathway to economic mobility. Previously, Audrey was a Program Officer at The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where she focused on education policy and workforce development in the U.S. She co-managed a portfolio of grantees that drove national alignment on federal K-12 policy implementation in states and led the development of a strategic approach to education finance and funding. Audrey has a background in policy and research focused on systems affecting children and youth and she has expertise on issues such as state accountability systems, school safety, and education finance. Audrey has a BA in Political Science from American University and earned her Masters degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is based in the Bay Area of California where she lives with her partner and their two dogs, Baby and Archie.
