Alice Chiang is a seasoned leader in the field of communications, with a strong commitment to promoting children's health and well-being. Her expertise includes extensive collaboration with school districts and driving systemic change. She possesses a remarkable talent for translating complex policies, enabling mission-driven organizations to effectively address multifaceted challenges. Alice previously served as Senior Communications and External Relations Manager at the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health. During her tenure at the Foundation, she oversaw the communications strategy and storytelling for children's health programs, effectively promoting research, data, and policies that benefit children with special health care needs and California kids. Alice also held communications roles at School Food Focus where she implemented promotional campaigns to improve healthy food procurement practices in schools and PolicyLink, where she supported food policy and advocacy efforts in California. Alice earned her master’s degree in food studies at New York University and her bachelor’s degree in molecular and cell biology with a minor in English from UC Berkeley.
